Yes, Stephen Booth creator of the COOPER and FRY crime novels set in the Peak District, is coming to Haxby Memorial Hall.

Internationally renowned novelist STEPHEN BOOTH is releasing his new novel Dead In The Dark in July
and on Monday 24th July at 7.30pm you can join us in that release.

Stephen will be giving us an insight in to his books and signing his new release
so please join us and meet this fabulous author.

Come and meet Angus and Shirley who both work in forensics, for a great interactive evening.

Angus has advised Lynda La Plante and Val McDermid, to name but two authors.
He is a specialist in digital forensics and has written a book and many articles on this subject.
Whilst Shirley is a specialist in DNA and Biological evidence having spent years working in police labs.
She is now an academic in Teeside.

FRANCES BRODY

A Yorkshire author born and bred in Leeds, brought us Kate Shackelton, sleuth extraordinaire, in her first crime novel DYING IN THE WOOL.
Now seven books along the line with Kate, the last being DEATH AT THE SEASIDE, Frances will be launching her new book in October.

Frances has also written Somewhere Behind The Morning, Sixpence In Her Shoe and Sisters On Bread Street, she has written many stories and plays for BBC radio and scripts for television.
A natural born story teller, this promises to be a great afternoon.
